The Blue, that Kira strives for throughout the story resembles a goal someone has or journey someone has to take to get to what or where they want to be. It also relates to the fact that throughout life you are going to have many challenges; Blue is like the thing you try to reach in life- the untouchable. However once you achieve your goal, and find the blue, you discover numerous things that are full of information. Just like when Kira discovered that her father was still alive, and how "the Council of Guardians" are a bunch of back stabbing old men. If she never would have found the blue, she would have never fought for her community, and would have never changed the future.
If you take the time to "find the Blue", You will discover yourself and your many talents and skills. In the end of it all, you will discover your true you.
